Ages: 10-14, beginner – intermediate, 12 seats

Coding skills are among the most in-demand in today’s job market. Get real-world experience with this introduction to computational thinking and Python. Open to students of all experience levels, Python is an easy-to-learn programming language, and fun as it challenges you to stretch out of your comfort zone. This class teaches everything from basic syntax to complex concepts such as arrays, objects and more. We learn to create quizzes, guessing games, and basic graphics coding using Turtle. Students just starting out with programming will receive an easy introduction to the core concepts with Scratch, a block-based programming tool. All levels are welcome, and no experience necessary.

We do provide laptops, but you may bring your own laptop if you wish.
